When it comes to policy, the UAE offers one of the best and most supportive environments for entrepreneurs and their companies to flourish in, while in terms of infrastructure it is no secret how impressive the road system in the UAE is. However, the Global Entrepreneurship Index also takes into account the digital infrastructure sub-index in which the UAE ranked 7 worldwide. Related to digitization, UAE companies have come a long way since 2010 when the country did not have such a performant internet connection.
The UAE was also commended by young entrepreneurs for the environment the government has created for them and described the authorities attitude as open. The report shows the UAE still needs to work on the education and finance pillars.
